Hoppe Shoppe x Shopper Insights

At the infancy stage of redesigning and migrating HoppeShoppe.com from Squarespace to Shopify, we wanted to check in with our shoppers to gather insights about their shopping experience and identify any pain points.

Approach

We sent out a survey incentivized with a 10% discount, asking shoppers about their shopping habits, preferred platforms for purchasing and inspiration, how we could improve the website’s navigation, and what additional products or features they’d like to see. The survey included both quantitative and qualitative questions to gather actionable insights.

Result

We received actionable feedback related to, showcasing new arrivals as a carousel and higher up the page, get rid of mulitple image banners, feauture more themed PLPs - these were immediately applied to improve the site’s design.

The insights allowed us to adjust navigation categories, enhance new product visibility, and refine the shopping experience based on what shoppers wanted more of.

These changes helped align the website’s structure with customer expectations, making their experience smoother and more intuitive.

Insight

The survey helped us identify key areas where our navigation could be more intuitive, what platforms shoppers preferred, and the types of content they valued most for inspiration. This data guided us in making quick adjustments during the migration, ensuring the new site better reflected shoppers’ needs and preferences.

New .com layout that feautures a Banner Hero that gets updated weekly with new product leading to a New Arrivals carousel and a CTA to visit us in-store.
